ERICA DARLING CRMP
FOUNDER
TRAUMA- INFORMED ENERGY PRACTIONER
Erica is the heart behind Balanced Living’s trauma-informed care.
Raised in Glenwood City, WI, with much of her family in the Chippewa Falls area, her roots here run deep. Caring for people in the community makes her work especially meaningful.
Her work centers on supporting individuals carrying grief, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and the lasting effects of overwhelming experiences.
Through trauma-informed energy work, she offers a safe, grounded space where clients can reconnect with themselves at their own pace. She also collaborates with trusted local mental health therapists to support a well-rounded approach to care.
Her heart is in helping people remember they were never broken they’ve simply been carrying too much for too long.

JEFFREY DARLING DPT
CO-FOUNDER
DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY
Jeff brings over 13 years of experience and a deep passion for helping people move and feel better—especially when it comes to the spine and its role in chronic pain throughout the body.
Known for his skill, precision, and results-driven approach, Jeff blends evidence-based physical therapy with a whole-body perspective. He understands that pain isn’t just physical—it’s influenced by how we move, live, and experience stress.
A graduate of the University of Iowa, Jeff is committed to providing care that is both highly effective and deeply personal. He takes the time to listen, assess thoroughly, and create a plan that actually works—because his goal isn’t just relief, it’s lasting change.
At his core, Jeff simply cares. And that shows in every session.

WILLOW
(Yellow English/Am Lab)
OFFICE MANAGER
(self-appointed)
Willow runs the show at Balanced Living… and she knows it.
As Office Manager, she oversees all arrivals, ensures every guest is properly greeted (with enthusiasm), and keeps team morale high with well-timed wiggles and snack breaks. She firmly believes no one should feel alone—and that every problem can be improved with a little attention and a lot of love.
Her qualifications? Zero formal training.
Her expertise? Reading the room, sensing stress, and making people feel instantly welcome.
Not a dog person? No problem—Willow has her own office (and she’ll only supervise from a distance).
If you ask her, she’s not just part of the team… she’s in charge.

KNOX (Silver English Lab)
ASSISTANT OFFICE MANAGER (in training)
Knox takes his role seriously… from a distance.
While Willow runs the show, Knox prefers to observe it—quietly watching, holding space, and stepping in only when he feels ready. His style is calm, cautious, and a little bit “I’ll be over here for now.”
He may not greet you right away, but give him time and you’ll earn a loyal, gentle shadow.
Every office needs a quiet one… Knox is ours.
Not a dog person? No problem, just let us know and Knox will happily head to his office and play with his toys.
